The humidifier claims to temporarily relieve dry air discomforts, keep nasal and throat passages hydrated, temporarily relieve congestion and cough and to run 30% quieter than other brands of humidifiers. It will run for 18 hours and has 2 moisture output settings. It is also quite compact, which is great for me because space is very limited where I live.
I thought it would be messy and difficult to set up but it was surprisingly super simple. All you do it moisten the filter, fill up the tank and turn it on!
I decided to let it run all night using the high setting because I do notice in the mornings that my nose and throat can be quite dry. When I woke up the next morning my throat was not scratchy and my nose wasn't dry. I have been using my humidifier almost every night since and have definitely noticed the difference from when I use it and when I don't.
As for the claim to relieve congestion and cough, I have not had any of these issues since I have been using the humidifier so I cannot say if that is true or not. Same goes for the claim that it runs 30% quieter than other brands. I have not used any other brands but I can say that this particular one runs relatively quiet.
The Honeywell Cool Moisture Humidifier retails for $34.99 and I definitely think that it is worth the investment if you are thinking about purchasing one.
Even though this humidifier was sent to me for review, all opinions are my own.
